Top quality grinding
With the operators and the process engineers intensively trained at Ludwigsburg, where the machine has been built, and on-site, during commisioning, top quality gear grinding is now the rule – the quality-price ratio must be a great attraction!
Last but not least, we can now quote very good prices not only for gears in very small quality classes (5 by DIN as a standard, but not even 3 is a problem), but also for smaller modules – down to the area of m = 2.
Profile grinding
This is maybe the most modern technology in gear grinding - the grinding wheel (special design) is dressed to the final profile of the toothing gap, with all the profile or lead modifications included.
All grinding parameters are set by machine programs, resulting in optimum grinding quality
Stock division & inspection
Machining cycle starts with “stock division”, when the flank with maximum stock is found, for the best alignment of the grinding wheel. Thus, the effect of deviations from previous hobbing and heat treatment distortions is reduced to minimum.
At the operator’s choice, the machine performs various profile and lead inspections, both during grinding, and at the end of cycle.
Final corrections are also possible, aimed at obtaining incredibly accurate toothings.
